While I was on holidays the only Flash Fiction I participated in was 3 Line Thursday, because it’s so short there’s not really an excuse for not entering.
Words not to use: sky, lake, reflection
You see things differently. At an angle, tangentially.
You think it means you’re broken.
But you’re so very wrong.
Words not to use: bird, wire, sky
A multitude of options streak off into the distance.
Yet I sit here alone
Not lonely: content.

Words not to use: broken, window, graffiti
Scrawled text and smashed panes, an eyesore most would ignore.
For me, I could never not .
How could you?
Words not to use: raindrop, blur, water
Rivulets run, leaching the colour and content from my heart
The agony – as always – promises to be eternal
Until the poultice of petrichor salves my soul

Words not to use: orange, lines, blur
Muted, muddled tones
Suggest turbulence, but inspire peace
Calm follows the flow
Now to think of what to post for this week!
